From Fields and Gardens to the Ocean Deep

It’s been a busy winter so far, but some amazing things are beginning to bloom around here. March’s new fused glass designs were released at the beginning of the month and I added a few more 2008 TPB art pieces to my shop at the end of February too!

Much of my joy in creating my fused glass designs comes from reliving the experiences and memories related to my time spent in nature. The final days of Winter leading into Spring inspired many of these new pieces along with my love for the ocean and the creatures who live within it. Visit my online shop to learn more about what inspired each of these unique fused glass works of art.

March’s New Releases

Each one of these new fused glass works of art started with a tiny test tile or “Artist’s Proof,” as I like to call them. The tests are made to practice new designs, make sure the glass colors I’ve chosen will be compatible for larger pieces, and to try new techniques. Their size is kept small so I don’t waste too much of my materials or time in creating them. I made eight proofs for this Month’s release and they all taught me something that I incorporated into these new fused glass works of art. I had so much fun making them that I quickly began making second editions. Hope you love the finished works as much as I do.

Introducing The 2nd Editions

Some of these new designs have already sold out. Don’t worry, I will be creating new designs and additional versions of these to be released next month. If you have a custom project you’d like to discuss or questions about my process, Contact Me.

My lifelong artistic journey has been intertwined with my profound love for the natural world and brave entrepreneurial spirt. My artistic creations in both fused glass and sketch art offer viewers a vivid and textured glimpse into the beauty of landscapes, gardens, and the animal kingdom. I'm the proud owner and artist at Lucky Starz Studio where I fuse glass and make my artistic visions a reality. I strive to promote other artists in their journey and share the highlights and shadows of being an artist with everyone I meet. My core philosophy is rooted in the belief that art possesses the unique ability to inspire, heal, and deeply connect people. I believe creativity is within us all and is the thread that weaves our experiences to the world around us. When not immersed in the creation of my own art, I can be found hiking the trails of Oregon and the Pacific North West, exploring the natural beauty of the world through my travels, indulging in culinary delights, and visiting artists at exhibitions and craft fairs.
