This month’s new fused glass art release was inspired by the natural beauty of Oregon’s mountains, gardens, and fields of flowers. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I thought it would be the perfect time to spread the love.
Mountain Magic
My very first visit to Oregon began with a drive to Mt Hood. This snow covered mountain is the tallest in Oregon and a dormant stratovolcano in the Cascade Volcanic Arc. To me, it’s magical. Whenever the horizon to the East of Portland is clear the mountain appears larger than life, and my favorite view of Hood is driving through the valley with flower fields in the forefront, just like this handmade fused glass art tile.

Blooming Friendship
Three unique and colorful echinacea blooms stand together in this handmade fused glass art tile. I created this piece as a symbol of friendships that grow together; some old, some new, and others that reconnect after years apart. As the years fly by it’s the friends who continue to grow alongside me that will always be a part of my colorful field of memories.

Love Is In the Air
Watching delicate butterflies flutter around till they find the sweetest flower in a beautiful field of echinacea is what inspired this handmade fused glass art tile. Butterflies are drawn to these fragrant and sweet-tasting flowers the way a person seeks a love that will last a lifetime.

Will You Be My Valentine?

*Just a gentle reminder to all, February 8th is the last day to order in time for Valentine’s Day.
