Lovely Lake: Coeur d’Alene

Description

Inspired by the wonder and tranquility of Lake Coeur d’Alene and Idaho’s magnificent natural surroundings, I created this fused glass scene that shimmers in the sunlight like the lake itself.

These two fused glass art tiles are each set in a custom backless Kayu Batu wood frame and designed to capture the essence of the lake’s turquoise waters whispering beneath the towering grandeur of ancient mountains and iconic Pacific Northwest fir trees. It calls forth dreams of serenity and natural beauty.

The glass art tile is approximately 8.25″ x 10.75″ set in a 11.5″ x 14.25″ custom backless Kayu Batu wood frame with sawtooth hanger.

Handmade in Oregon, July 2026. This is a 1st edition in the new Lovely Lake Collection. Two were made in the series. One portrait and one landscape orientation.

Each piece of colored Bullseye glass is carefully hand placed and layered in such a way that when fused together they melt to a soft textured image.
