Big Announcement for Lucky Starz Studio!

Over the past several months, I’ve been hard at work setting up a new glass art studio in my garage and crafting dozens of works of art for my friends, family, fans, and followers to check out.

Getting back into the art world after a 13 year break has been one of the best and most inspiring adventures I’ve been on in a long time. In order to push myself in time for the holiday season, I decided to start a creativity challenge. My goal, to create 100 pieces of art (fused glass and/or sketches) in 45 days. I started this journey on October 1st, 2023, and it’s now day 23 and I’m excited to say things are really heating up in here (pun was intended 😉 ).

One last, but very important thing for me to share. Getting to this point has not been a solo mission by any means, and it has not been without some ups and downs. I’m so grateful for the support of a few key individuals who have helped make this all possible. First and foremost to my husband Daniel, who gave me the greatest gift of all. He encouraged me to walk away from my stressful corporate career to pursue the creative life I longed for. He not only helped me build an art studio space in our garage, but he is the amazing craftsman behind the custom wood stands, frames, and LED backlit frames you will see showcasing my glass art.

I’m beyond grateful for the support from our parents, Joanna Herrick, Robert Krawic, and Deb and Les Lucht. There are also quite a few close friends who need to know how much I appreciate them and the roll they played in this crazy adventure too… Thank you for your friendship and encouragement Susan Hanfield, Kat Parker, Amy Filener, Rachelle Clark, Kristen and Tim Salai, Elizabeth Walker, Martin Likewise, Todd Chile Ortega, Carmen Mollet, and Tony Robbins.

Here’s a small sample of the original works of art you all will see coming in the near future.

My lifelong artistic journey has been intertwined with my profound love for the natural world and brave entrepreneurial spirt. My artistic creations in both fused glass and sketch art offer viewers a vivid and textured glimpse into the beauty of landscapes, gardens, and the animal kingdom. I'm the proud owner and artist at Lucky Starz Studio where I fuse glass and make my artistic visions a reality. I strive to promote other artists in their journey and share the highlights and shadows of being an artist with everyone I meet. My core philosophy is rooted in the belief that art possesses the unique ability to inspire, heal, and deeply connect people. I believe creativity is within us all and is the thread that weaves our experiences to the world around us. When not immersed in the creation of my own art, I can be found hiking the trails of Oregon and the Pacific North West, exploring the natural beauty of the world through my travels, indulging in culinary delights, and visiting artists at exhibitions and craft fairs.
